Jesse J. Lu

Jesse J. Lu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of RedMoon Capital Partners a boutique consulting & Investment firm specialized in Greater China. He was previously the General Manager of Lenovo Taiwan having successfully integrated the Lenovo/IBM merger during his tenure. As General Manager of Lenovo Taiwan, he was responsible for Lenovo Group procurements and business developments in Taiwan, a key location for the company's product sourcing and strategic alliances. He was the first Mainland Chinese to establish an official office for a PRC based company in Taiwan, and remains as the only one. Prior to this post, he was Director of Strategic Investment at Lenovo Group, responsible for M&A, strategic investments, and group business strategies. During his tenure, numerous key transactions were consummated to broaden the scope and product range in Lenovo. Jesse joined Lenovo initially as General Manager of Handheld Business Group at the inception of the new initiative and was responsible for much of the milestones achieved by the group to date. Before joining Lenovo Group, he had over 14 years of working experience in the US and held various positions in hi-tech industries. He worked in Oracle, responsible for mobile products planning and management. He was the VP of Engineering of a Silicon Valley startup company, focusing on IC technologies, design process, and design tool development. Jesse has the unique background combining PRC, US and Taiwan business practices and is a much sought after professional by people in the industry. He has BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shanghai JiaoTong University and is a naturalized US Citizen.

Steven T. Hong

Mr. Hong is the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of RedMoon Capital Partners Limited. He has over 25 years of experience in finance, business development, direct investment, corporate finance and consulting. In his capacity as a consultant during the past 12 years, he has worked with numerous multinational companies, venture capital groups and start-ups. Prior to establishing the consultancy practice, Mr. Hong worked with Citigroup in various senior roles spanning 14 years in 3 locations. His last posting was Director & Senior Banker of The Citigroup Private Bank based in Hong Kong covering ultra high net worth clients for Taiwan market. Before Citigroup in Hong Kong, Mr. Hong was Chief Officer, The Citibank Private Bank, the first on-shore private bank ever to be set-up in Taiwan. Prior to Citibank Taiwan, Steven was Vice President & Relationship Manager, Financial Institutions Group, Citibank N.A., New York. Mr. Hong joined Citibank's renowned Management Associate Program in 1981 after completing his education at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia with a degree in Economics.

Rick Chen

Rick Chen is a Managing Partner of Redmoon Capital. Previously Mr. Chen was the Executive Vice President of Noah Education Holdings, a NYSE listed education company in China. Mr. Chen has successfully taken the company public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2007 and raised the largest IPO for a China based education company to date.  As a member of the Office of Chairman, Mr. Chen oversaw accounting and finance, legal, Information and technology, new business initiatives as well as strategic investments. He was instrumental in Noah’s successful transition from a privately held domestic company to a publicly renowned listed company by overseeing the implementation of new and improved business processes and refined corporate governance. He is also active in the Chinese education M&A space and executed the biggest acquisition in Noah’s history by acquiring one of the leading kid English training brands in China. Prior to Noah, Mr. Chen served as the head of sales, marketing and alliance for BearingPoint China, a global management consulting firm, where he was part of the senior leadership team. Before that, Mr. Chen spent several years at Microsoft Corporation, working on strategic business deals and partnerships. During his earlier career, Mr. Chen worked as a management consultant and an investment banker on the east coast of the United States.

Mr. Chen has outstanding and diversified experience in executive and financial management. His in-depth understanding of and extensive knowledge of the US capital markets and US IPO experience have benefited a number of our clients seeking access to the oversea capital markets. His exceptional deal making skills could also contribute to companies looking to forge business partnerships and alliances.

Yang Yuanqing, Chairman of the board of Lenovo Group Limited.

Prior to assuming his current position, he was the president and chief executive officer of Lenovo. Mr. Yang joined Lenovo in 1989 and became CEO in 2001. Under his leadership, Lenovo has been China's best-selling PC brand since 1997. In 1999, Lenovo ranked as first in PC sales in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) and has maintained this position ever since.

Mr. Yang has been named by BusinessWeek magazine as one of the "Stars of Asia," and has been selected by the Chinese media as one of China's "Ten Star Entrepreneurs" and "Ten Most Valuable Managers." He was also named by CCTV as a "Man of the Year" in 2004. He holds a master's degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology of China. Mr. Yang is also a member of the National Youth Association Committee, director of China's Entrepreneurs' Association, a guest professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, and a member of the New York Stock Exchange's International Advisory Committee.

Max Fang, Chairman & CEO Maxima Capital Management

As the first employee of Dell Taipei, Mr. Fang established Dell's international procurement organization in 1991-single handed-, and expanded it to a scale of over 100 team members managing the procurement activities up to US$70billion annually, when he departed from Dell at the end of year 2002. Mr. Fang is widely recognized as a legendary and representing figure linking the Taiwan IT industry with global OEM customers. His broad industry network and deep relationship with business leaders are the key foundations of Maxima Capital Management Inc. Chairman Fang holds EMBA from National Cheng Chi University and B.S. in Management Science from National Chiao Tung University.

Richard L. Hsiung former Chairman, Greater China Dentsu, Young & Rubicam

Mr. Hsiung's professional experience is in corporate and marketing strategies, working in the areas of marketing, marketing communication, brand development, corporate image, and business development, he has advised numerous leading corporations in U.S., Europe, and Asia. Previously, he served as Chairman of Greater China, Member of the Board of Dentsu Young & Rubicam, and its affiliates Wunderman direct- and internet-marketing, and Media Edge, having established in 1986 the first international ad agency in China - A joint venture between CIAC of China, Dentsu, and Young & Rubicam with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

From 1978 to 1988, Richard was with Y&R in New York, last as Vice President, Creative Director, and Member of Executive Board. He is multiple winner of Clio International Advertising Award, and recipient of Dentsu International Award for Management Excellence. Mr. Hsiung received his B.S. in Business Administration from University of Maryland; and undertook post-graduate studies at Pratt Institute and Stanford University.
